The Edmundite Center for Faith and Culture presents “Beyond Patriarchy: Women’s Leadership in Catholic Higher Education and Catholic Social Thought” by Dr. Jennifer Reed-Bouley on Thursday, Oct. 19th at 12 p.m. in the Vermont Room of the Alliot Student Center.
Dr. Jennifer Reed-Bouley, PhD, Professor and Program Director of Theology at College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, will present a lecture on “Women’s Leadership in Catholic Higher Education and Catholic Social Thought: Beyond Patriarchy.” Dr. Reed-Bouley has been teaching Catholic social through and enviro9nmental ethics since 2004. Her article “Challenging Racism and White Privilege in Undergraduate Theology Contexts” won the College Theology Society’s annual award for best article in 2015. With Dr. Bernard Prusak, Dr. Reed-Bouley recently co-edited Catholic Higher Education and Catholic Social Thought, Dr. Reed-Bouley received her BA from the University of Notre Dame, earned a MA and PhD in Theology from Loyola University Chicago.
